Students will explore a variety of monoprinting techniques including color reductive printing from plexigless and the use of stencils to create complex and beautiful prints. This workshop also teaches basic registration techniques, use of a press, hand printing techniques, and the layering of multiple colors onto prints. These techniques offer a wide range of expressive possibilities and applications that can be used across media. They also require limited supplies and studio space, and so can be done from your home studio!

Participants should bring a few simple drawn images to work from, a sharpie marker, scissors, apron, and a ruler.
