Storytelling by the River

Storytelling by the River will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 6:30pm.

Grab your camp chair or blanket and sit alongside the fire outside of Recapture Lodge where we will gather to listen to readings by Vaughn Hadenfeldt, Writer & Former Guide; Zak Podmore, Author, Journalist & Former Ellen Meloy for Desert Writers Award Winner; and Robin Patten, Writer, Teacher & Naturalist whose upcoming book entitled The Mountain: Journeys in High Places is preparing for release.

Please note: Due to damage sustained during flash flooding in June 2024, we can no longer gather in our usual spot along the banks of the San Juan River.  A big THANK YOU to the Recapture Lodge for still accommodating us in a beautiful setting alongside a roaring fire.
