Cynthia Shelton Instructor
Students will learn how to combine two art mediums to create unusual, fun, and creative works of art.
Alcohol inks are very colorful and activated with rubbing alcohol. Brusho crystals are intensely pigmented powder watercolors activated by water!
You will create two pieces to take home to enjoy. This class is beginner friendly and suitable for ages 10 and up.
Cynthia’s studio is nestled in southwestern Colorado. Surrounded by the majestic La Plata Mountains to the north and east and the colorful high desert to the west and south. There is never a shortage of art inspiration! The whole area is steeped in western culture, mining, and Native American and Puebloan history. All of it tugs at her creative heartstrings.
Cythina likes to say, “My work tells a story, be it real or imagined.” She considers herself and eclectic artist often combining different mediums and techniques within her watercolor paintings. She shares her creativity with others teaching classes on a regular basis at local galleries, public library programs, and in private group settings.
