Description:

“Why We Chose to Live in the Desert”

Walk the torch-lit path down to the river for a bonfire and an evening of readings, storytelling, and song. The 2017 winner of the Ellen Meloy Desert Writers Award, Michael Branch and Utah Poet Laureate David Lee will read from selected works and invite other storytellers and musicians to join in the discussion and sharing. On the banks of the San Juan River behind Recapture Lodge. 7- 9 PM. Free, no registration required. Bring a folding chair, a story or song to share.
